About the project
In the heart of the charming fishing village of Howth, Rennie Place is a new residential quarter in Balscadden which will deliver 177 new apartments
Built over three blocks and one mews, the apartments will enjoy views of the village, historical sites like Martello tower and the sea.
As well as providing welcome new housing to the area, we plan to upgrade existing pedestrian links and create two public plazas for residents and neighbours to enjoy.
The development will feature 171 apartments and 6 duplexes as well as a central courtyard, numerous open spaces for recreational use and landscaped paths throughout. There will also be commercial space with two shop units, a community room and a café.
In keeping with Howth’s famous roofscape—which has a character of its own—the new buildings will feature pitched roofs of varying heights built with subtle materials. Each dual aspect apartment brings the airy feeling of Howth inside with open plan kitchen and living areas, private outdoor space and village views.
Howth is a place like no other in Dublin; a magical village that is cherished by all who know it.
There is both a sense of calm and activity here, with a bustling fishing harbour where visitors stroll on the pier, eat the famous fish and chips and spend time with the resident seals.
Rennie Place will be located in the centre of all this, on Main Street, with access to the city via the DART station and Dublin Bus only minutes walk away.
