The spacious two-bedroom apartments have a view of the beautiful park garden of the historic Hooghuys.
Just like the park and the pond, the Hooghuys was restored to its former glory. Thus, another chapter is being written in the already glorious Hooghuys history.
A large part of the old park garden is protected from buildings, so that the new residences are located in the middle of the greenery. The garden is supplemented with new standard trees and various green massifs that provide privacy in a natural way. The recognizable pear-shaped access road will be restored, the pond will be upgraded and several new footpaths will be laid in the garden. There are also some meeting places provided in the park; rest areas under the trees and even a wooden platform with sun loungers on the reed bed of the pond.
The architecture of the four new buildings is light, calm and timeless. You immediately feel this in the materials used. A unique hand-shaped facing brick was chosen for the facades. The windows are made of light aluminum. Architects Alaers and partners thus ensure that the historical value of the park garden and the beautiful, centrally located Hooghuys is optimally preserved.
