About the project

The area is rich in history: the Klingerka jute textile processing factory - founded in 1889 by its namesake Henrich Klinger – once stood here. It produced wallpaper, imitation leather, waxed canvas, bags, etc. With its over 1000 employees, the surrounding residential quarter became known as ‘Klingerova’s colony’.
