About the project
The area around Hofplein Station, called Pompenburg, is turning into a seductive part of the city. A concept vision has been developed for this by the Synchroon Development Combination, J.P. van Eesteren (both subsidiaries of TBI) and Dura Vermeer. The concept vision has been coordinated with the municipality and has been well received by the Municipal Executive.
The area is being transformed into an attractive area that breathes the real Rotterdam identity: unpolished and locally oriented. In addition to being an attractive residential area, Pompenburg is also primarily an interesting place to stay, filled in by local entrepreneurs. It will be a place where both Rotterdammers and people from outside the city like to come: 'Connecting by staying'.
